With 29 years of experience in Air Traffic Management (ATM), Richard Landreville has held a variety of critical roles in the industry, including operational air traffic controller, team leader, trainer, and proficiency assessor. His career has taken him across Canada, Bahrain, and Switzerland, providing him with a unique global perspective on air traffic operations.
Richard transitioned into various management roles, where he made significant contributions to the development of ATM systems. As a senior leader, he played a pivotal role in designing the blueprint for Switzerland’s future ATM system and was instrumental in creating the Operational Concept for the groundbreaking Virtual Center program. In his capacity as Head of Air Traffic Management in Switzerland and Business Owner of the Virtual Center program, Richard successfully led cross-functional teams and complex projects, shaping the future of air traffic management in one of the most advanced aviation environments in the world.
Richard holds an Advanced Certificate in Aerospace & Aviation from the Executive Education Program at HEC Paris (2018). In the same year, he returned to Canada and founded Betterizon Consultants, bringing his wealth of knowledge and experience to help redefine the air traffic management landscape.
Today, Richard continues to collaborate with industry leaders to develop innovative AI and machine learning-based solutions that will shape the future of air traffic management.
